7-28-25   THOUGHTS

In last Friday’s post, I challenged you to think of the song that was flowing through my mind.  The key words were in the prayer... “Mold us and make us after Your will.   May we wait yielded and still as we seek Your character.”  That song is still filling my mind.  I need to share the words with you this morning.  I pray the words will occupy your minds for several days!  This is “waiting on the Lord” terminology.

Jer 18:6   "Can I not, O house of Israel, deal with you as this potter [does?"] declares the LORD. "Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in My hand, O house of Israel.”

HAVE THINE OWN WAY LORD

Please dwell on these powerful words!
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.
Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o’er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.

A Prayer:
All praise, honor and glory belong to You,  Father God.   Fill us with Your Spirit Lord, until all can see Christ living in us!   Open our hearts, O God, that we might see the blessedness of pure hearts in Your presence.  Mold us and make us after Your will.   May we wait yielded and still as we seek Your character.     In the name of our Savior,   Amen.
